This study examined the institutional framework and implementation strategies of school health policy in Nigeria. The objective of the study was to assess the awareness of teachers and school administrators on their roles in executing strategies for implementation of school health policy in Nigeria. The methodology adopted for this study include use of descriptive survey with a total of 600 participants drawn through cluster, stratified and simple random sampling techniques. A validated and piloted instrument with reliability index of 0.81 was used to collect data. Mean scores and rank order were used to answer research questions why z-test was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 alpha level. Results show that there was no significant difference between the mean scores of participants on their roles as well as on implementation strategies of school health policy. The conclusion of the study was that both school administrators and teachers had low awareness of their roles with aggregate mean 2.38 < 2.50 as well as the implementation strategies with mean 2.43 < 2.50. It was recommended that there should be regular training and re training to increase awareness and collaborative effort by teachers, administrators and other stake holders.
