Abstract

The densities of an ideal and a non-ideal liquid-liquid solution were determined experimentally. The experimental results were then compared to calculated values using two mathematical expressions for density, employing partial densities in one and mole fraction in the other. Results were presented in form of tables and graphs, indicating the validity of applying mole fractions in the estimation of liquid-liquid solutions.
