Entrepreneurial behaviours of rural households in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Nigeria seem not to have been empirically documented. In order to address the gap, the study described the socio-economic characteristics of the rural households; characterized the entrepreneurial activities of the rural households; and explored the entrepreneurial behaviour of the rural households. A multistage sampling technique was used in selection of ninety (90) rural households. Data were collected from primary source using structured questionnaire. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were employed to realise the objectives of the study. The entrepreneurship behaviour was determined specifically using Entrepreneurial Behaviour Index (EBI).The result showed that in line with agribusiness tri-aggregates, the major entrepreneurial activities of the rural households were the supply of farm implements (87%), breeding stock (72%), agro- chemicals (44%), arable crop production, rearing of domestic farm animals, processing/marketing of cereals – rice and maize; processing of nuts and legumes, processing/distribution of roots and tubers. The overall result of the entrepreneurial behaviour index of the rural households was high (80.28) as individual of the scores of the six major different EBI attributes - innovativeness, decision making ability, risk taking ability, information seeking behaviour, leadership ability, and achievement motivation was equally high at 55%, 58%, 73%, 33%, 68%, and 64% respectively. In view of the findings, it was recommended that Government at various levels should design training programs for the rural households to increase their innovativeness, leadership ability and achievement motivation behaviours.
