Know a day’s adoption forage enhancement technology had taken and considered as a primary action plan for enhanced livestock production through increasing the forage production among pastoralist communities in the rangeland of Yabello. And there are factors determining adoption of these practices and it vary with different socio-demographical issues within the pastoral household. The aim of our study was focused on identifying major threating factors both directly or indirectly impacts on practice the new technology and also enhances their forage production activity in Yabello rangeland of Southern Ethiopia. Data was collected from 210 households and 6 extension workers in total of 216 interviewers using direct interviews and group questionnaire and the data were analyzed by using SPSS. From our data we can understand that those threating factors including gender, level of education, social participation and access and implementation of extension services were play a key role in both adaptation of technology and in the long run enhancement of forge quality and quantity. In general based on our data we recommend that awareness creation with regards to the value of participating both local and governmental social in the Yabello range land can be offered.
