Glomalin is an abundant soil glycoprotein to sequester substantial amounts of C on a global scale. The biochar in agricultural soils appears to improve soil properties and increase crop production. Biochar with arbuscular mycorhizal fungi (AMF) produce a glycoprotein (glomalin) important for soil structure, fertility and plant nutrition, we aimed to evaluate the impact of glomalin on soil organic carbon. The study found the association of biochar and VAM in soil carbon pools. The study found a positive relationship of glomalin produced from AMF and its stability in soil organic carbon sequestration.
