Water has always been an important and life-sustaining drink to humans and is essential for the survival of all organisms. Therefore, a study was carried out to analyze the safety of drinking water. Samples of water will be collected from different sources available in Rawalakot municipality of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and were analyzed for microbiological parameters. Microbiological parameters include total coli forms, fecal coli forms, E-coli and total plate count will be determined. This study has provided an idea about the quality and safety of drinking water in rawalakot and is helpful in future planning and development in the public sector.
