This study uses cross sectional descriptive design to conduct a research during the corona virus pandemic October 2020 to January 2021, among primary school children and investigate the prevalence and intensity of Schistosoma haematobium infection at Kurfi village, Sokoto state of Nigeria. Two hundred and thirteen urine samples were examined from the school pupils aged between 3 to 20 years. Quantitative microscopic counting of S. haematobium eggs was carried out using centrifugation method. Out of the 213 participants examined for the infection, there was an overall prevalence of 8.92%. The infection rate peaked (5.63%) in the 11 - 15years age category. The sex pattern of S. haematobium infection as obtained from the study showed typical peak prevalence in males, having a prevalence rate of 8.45% than females (0.47%) (X2= P <0.05). The rates of prevalence and intensity of S. haematobium as observed in the present study clearly indicated that the children are not facing a great health burden.
